Get rid of that annoying Low Oil Pressure Warning!
A common issue on the 3.3T is the OPS failing! The sensor becomes compromised and bleeds off oil pressure through the sensor and into the wiring harness connector.

This condition causes the dashboard to display the red oil lamp icon. Typically as this sensor fails, the low oil pressure warning becomes present when the engine is at idle and will turn off when accelerating due to the increase in oil pressure.

In some cases this may only occur once the vehicle and engine oil have reached operating temperature. In most cases, these engines are not truly lacking oil pressure but its still important to have your oil pressure sensor replaced so you can be aware of actual low oil pressure conditions.

A few severe occurrences also displayed symptoms of fluid migration, pushing oil through the sensor connector and into the wiring harness. At this stage, the OPS wiring harness replacement is also required.

Does your dashboard display a low oil pressure warning? Then this is likely your fix! Contact us today to schedule your replacement!
